What is Pilates..?

Pilates is a low impact, relaxing method of exercise. Designed to tone and sculpt your body achieving a slender more defined figure. Pilates exercises are directly linked to the anatomy of the body, working on specific muscle groups and areas to achieve your personal goals. As a result of Pilates classes you will feel and see a satisfying difference… Strengthening your core stability, Elongating your posture, Working towards muscular balance, Improving mobility and flexibility.

Who does Pilates?

Everyone..! No matter what your age, ability or fitness level there is a class for you. About your teacher…

My name is Yolanda, I am a passionate and dedicated Dance and Pilates teacher. Having graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance in London with a BA (hons) in Ballet Education.
I am currently teaching Ballet and Jazz to all ages. My love and respect for Pilates came from my studies at the Royal Academy.
Within our degree as dancers we did a lot of Pilates and I saw first hand how beneficial it is for everyone. As a result of this I went on to complete my Pilates teacher training course giving me the opportunity to pass on all that I have learnt.
My teaching style is hands on and involved, I always demonstrate exercises and give constant feedback throughout to enable all my students to get the most out of every class.
I have a friendly relaxed atmosphere in my classes and wish the sessions to be an enjoyable form of exercise for all.
